Why we do what we do?
The eternity communications story…
You might ask why am I doing what I am doing, why would I be playing is such a well saturated and competitive space? Let me explain how this came about…
With some 30 years in the Telecommunications industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with major Telecommunication influences Siemens, Ericsson and Sony and worked on multi-million dollar projects. I’ve also had the opportunity to work strategically with Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and a number of other carriers globally. My involvement in Telecommunications coincided with the beginning of mobile communications when I was responsible for launching one of the 1st mobile phones with Siemens and Ericsson.
About 13 years ago, I started my own business, still working in the Telecommunications sector, bringing a number of innovative technology products to Australia from European and the US and our customers were still the large Telco companies.
It was during this time that I fully appreciated that large Telcos care about their mass consumer market and their blue chip corporate customers, but that small business was not a priority. I learnt this first hand where in my small business had to survive without phone lines for 4 weeks! This cost of lost business, numerous frustrating hours on the phone. My anger reached boiling point as I was passed from person to person, with broken “we will call back” promises and the realisation that the Telco’s customer support could not fix my problem.
When I did some research on my experience, I found that a staggering 9 out of 10 business I spoke to had had serious frustrations with their Telco providers and this was my motivation to set up a Telco Business to serve other small businesses. Use my corporate experience to help them get set up correctly from the beginning and take away the pain of service and support when something went wrong.
That is the reason why we do what we do and why we are playing is such a saturated and competitive market. We believe, that what we do is different, because we care about our customers businesses and success. As a result we make it our job to keep their telecommunication running smoothly and efficiently, so that they can focus on running their businesses.
